Oral presentation at ACR Convergence 2020

After months of effort, the results of the REUMAVID study are beginning to be presented at scientific conferences. For the first time, they are being presented at ACR Convergence 2020, the annual meeting of the American College of Rheumatology.

The study, entitled Assesment of the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases in Europe: Results of the REUMAVID study, was selected for oral presentation.

Professor Marco Garrido Cumbrera delivered the presentation, in a virtual session held on November the 6th 2020. The results of the first phase of the study show alterations in health care, substantial changes in lifestyle habits that are detrimental to health and an unprecedented deterioration of mental health in REUMAVID participants. The project will continue to collect data to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people with rheumatic diseases in Europe.
