Sessione REUMAVID alla conferenza annuale BSR 2021

The results of the first phase of the REUMAVID study will be presented next Monday April the 14th 2021 at the Annual Conference of the British Society of Rheumatology (BSR 2021). The interest raised by the study has led to it being selected for several activities: an ePoster presenting the study data for the UK sample («Evaluation of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Patients with Rheumatic Diseases in the UK: Results from the REUMAVID Study») and a monographic session on REUMAVID presented by Prof. Marco Garrido-Cumbrera from the University of Seville, Dr Helena Marzo-Ortega from Leeds University Hospital, and Dr Dale Webb from the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS), with Dr. Victoria Navarro-Compán from Hospital La Paz as chair. The speakers will present to the UK medical community the objectives, methodology and main results of the study at national (UK) and international level, as well as one of the main conclusions of REUMAVID: the relevant role of patient organisations in patient advocacy during the pandemic.

REUMAVID is a project conducted by the Health & Territory Research (HTR) group of the University of Seville (Spain)
