What was the reason behind REUMAVID?

  • REUMAVID aims to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown measures on the disease activity and function, access to healthcare and treatment, support services, wellbeing, mental health, and hopes and fears of people living with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs).
  • Capturing the Patients’ Perspective in order to address unmet needs on issues that matters to patients during COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.  
  • Generating evidence-based information to raise awareness on the impact of the pandemic on patients with RMDs.
  • Providing patient organizations data that will allow to advocate for patients’ rights in crisis situations
  • Identifying the fears and hopes of patients during the pandemic
